FALL-WINTER 2016/17

mai 2016

Martin Grant presented his Fall/Winter 2016 collection in an intimate show held in the designer’s salon in Le Marais, Paris.

Day silhouettes are in black and white sparkling tweed, bottle green leather and plaid motif wools. The perfecto and the bomber jacket are combined with slim pants; turtleneck pullovers become oversized. The long striped tweed cardigan associated with a sculptural, pleated, wide-leg pant creates slender lines. The diamond motifs play with mirror reflections to create an elegant and refined structure. Green and bronze stand together for a sophisticated and refined allure. Silk comes in printed twill or in a crispy ‘satin leather’ effect.
The bottle green evening trench is softly structured with gently angled pockets.
The fluid jumpsuits have deep-cut decolettés. Little swing dresses and straight shifts are elevated by the use of diaphanous silk prints. The sweeping tulle pleated ball skirts are delicate and fluid. The evening dresses are subtly belted with grosgrain and the pareo dress comes alive in exalted simplicity.

Martin Grant demonstrates that his sophisticated standards remain constant with every season and confirm that ‘timeless never fades’.
